CAPE GARRISON ARTILLERY 150TH CELEBRATION AND FREEDOM OF ENTRY PARADE - 6th, 8th & 9th AUGUST 2009 EVENT

The City of Cape Town Film Permitting Office would like to advise on limitations on film-related activity in the City associated with the CAPE GARRISON ARTILLERY 150TH CELEBRATION
AND FREEDOM OF ENTRY PARADE event on 6th, 8th & 9th AUGUST 2009.

Also please be advised of the following activity on the 9th August 2009 linked to the event:

Church Parade: 9 August 2009 - 10h00 -12h00
• A small Cape Garrison Artillery contingent will assemble at the Gunners’ Memorial in the
Company’s Gardens and march down Government Avenue, along Waal, Adderley,
Bureau to the Parliament Street/Church Square entrance to De Groote Kerk.
• The contingent will return along the same route after the service.

Please expect intermittent/rolling road closures along the route as the detail proceeds to
and from the De Groote Kerk.
